Remembrance Sunday is the second Sunday of November, the Sunday nearest to 11 November (Remembrance Day), which is the anniversary of the end of the hostilities of the First World War at 11 a.m. in 1918. It is the day when ceremonies are held across the UK to remember the fallen servicemen and women in conflicts through the years.
I think it is “wrong” to solely wear a poppy flower, and commemorate the lives of fallen soldiers in November only; our women and men are serving in different parts of the world, and I for one feel the pain every time I hear that another soldier has lost their life. Let us join in and pray and remember those who give their lives to bring peace, to build communities, and protect the borders of the countries that they serve.

I agree. I have family members and friends that were and are part of some armed forces. We need to remember these people on a daily basis.
so thats the reason I saw many people with these flowers tucked on their coats this last sunday
