There is a question which is frequently thrown out into the circles of social media and networking -
“With the growth and expansion of micro blogging networks like twitter, has blogging begun to reach it’s end?”
2009 was proposed as the year when blogging will begin to die… I for one think that is utter BS. How does one put the emotions of an entire thought process in 140 characters? SO, my response to this is to do this week’s Follow Friday via a blog post AND I will tell you in MORE than 140 characters why each one of the following people should be followed on Twitter!

My only constraint is that I can’t recommend each and every one of the 100+ people I follow (well I can, but you know), so here are 15 of the most engaging of my tweeties (in no particular order)….
#FollowFriday @MaliZomg follow him because he is obnoxious, hilarious, and fast as lightning with comebacks (especially when everyone is kung fu fighting). He also argues like a little child with his older brother; their tweetversations are legendary. He is also a super nice guy, and my cousin, and the best wingman one would want!
#FollowFriday @rebelliousgirl follow her if you like to laugh, are creative, love to rant, love the letter T, wonder why Arabs are weird, and have hair and humidity issues.
#FollowFriday @LiliCosic follow her because she is a geek, english language, movie, and comedy extrodinaire. Her nickname is ‘The Boss’, and she is the brains behind the operation! I also owe her a coffee, 5 cookies, 34 pence and 47% of Stephen Fry.
#FollowFriday @falakk follow this young lady becuase she will make you laugh at will! She lives in a small town, and NOT in a village, and is a warra ACE blogger.You also have to address her respectfully and call her Falakk-ji.
#FollowFriday @amanda follow this lady because she is a genius at organising global events! She was the organising guru behind the Charity Water Twestival on a global scale, and is constantly highlighting worthy projects and events which everyone should support and be part of!
#FollowFriday @Lhjunkie Good things come in small packages, awesome things come in small containers and labled LHJUNKIE. Colourful, vibrant, funky, and has a thing for post-it eyes.
#FollowFriday @binmugahid I don’t think I can say anything about this guy other than follow him, and you will NOT be dissapointed. Entertaining, hillarious, and wrong at so many levels!
#FollowFriday @khanserai follow my pretend aunt (khalajan) because she is the most sensible and composed tweetie that I follow. She writes brilliant blog posts, and has deers visiting her gardens – you probably want to follow her just for that!
#FollowFriday @nagham follow her because she will greet you every morning with a random number, is known is some circles as ‘Red-puffy-blowfish’, and HER confusion resulted in the question – “what sex is the cookie monster?”
#FollowFriday @thelostdot follow her because she is just pure and simple cool and awesome. She is also covered in dots, and tests are still being conducted on whether she originates from this planet or not. I am also her pretend chacha (uncle).
#FollowFriday @Moonpoppy follow this young lady becuase she is all kinds of awesome and what not. Always positive, will give you virtual OJ and cake if you are nice, and blogs about natural wellbeing.
#FollowFriday @masarat follow this extraoridinary gal because she has an innovative vision of a movement which has a pottential to change societies in all walks of life. Follow her on twitter and follow her actions in life to make a difference in your communities!
#FollowFriday @thespianduckie one half of the dynamic duo who have a dedication towards the Middle East and the causes, trials and tribulations of those stuck in the middle of it all. A theatre person by profession, and a brilliant blogger!
#FollowFriday @iPolitical the other half of the dynamic duo; human rights lawyer and journalist in the making, and not scared to stand up and defend the rights from the wrong. Overall brilliant blogger and tweeter!
#FollowFriday @QueenRania Queen of Jordan, philanthropist, and promoter of children’s education rights. Follow the 1 goal movement which she has launched to promote the eradication of child poverty via education.

I can not agree more with you, you can not put a whole hought process in 140 characters maybe 160, lol. Joking aside blogging will not die soon, better not I just started blogging and it is a blast. I still enjoy tweeting.
