Men say they love intelligence in a woman, but it’s only when:

a) it is not greater than that of the man, else he feels threatened and/or emasculated.
b) the product of that intelligence is in complete agreement with that of the man’s – a man does not want to be told that he’s wrong by a smart woman; he wants his own intelligence to be validated by that of his smart spouse. She essentially becomes mental arm candy!

Perhaps you are the exception that proves the rule. But I rarely believe any man who says he digs smart chicks, as my personal experience, and that of many other women, says the complete opposite.

Whether the man or woman is more intelligent is not the issue but how the two handle the difference. I know of many men who want their wives to be more intelligent than they are but do not want their wives to use this to degrade the man. Same thing goes the other way around. Use your intellect to your advantage and respect your partner. Do not use your skills to degrade your partner whatever the may be.
