Senioritis sucks, I can confirm with great authority. The transformation you are hoping for will surely come after you take your last final exam, and have a chance to finally breathe. For now, keep a list of your short-term goals, that Behavior Change Contract at the very top of your pile of papers, and look at it frequently. The guilt that results should be enough to get you going. Tape it to your bathroom mirror so that it's the first thing you see in the morning. Stick it to your refrigerator door. Seriously plaster your home with that contract...it just might help you focus on putting one leg forward at a time.

Good luck riding the wave to the very end. I know you'll arrive at the shore on your feet!

You know... sometimes these experiences spur the changes. I started the year with a sincere resolution to lose weight. Now anyone who knows me would tell you - I am allergic to exercise. However, something kept picking on my mind that I need to do this. Now that I have started (at home as opposed to the gym) I try hard to keep up with my schedule. It's the same with blogging - I want to blog and so I make that extra effort!

I think what you say is correct - it is all mental. The mental state, belief in yourself, as well as a little bit of heart will help you achieve anything that you want!

Hiya Sarah! good post! :D
I find it difficult to change too, maybe you really need to find a good motivation...sometimes external factors are not enough...and well, even if you lack internal pushing factors to do things, maybe if you dig deep, you'll find something that will make you work harder...
I don't want to plug a link, but there's a network called Brazen Careerist and I think they help you find jobd there...anyway, I've never tried :P
cheers!

sounds like a case of 'senior-itis'. i had it when graduating and it took me a while to get back on track. hopefully you are young enough to take it easy and not let it affect you much.
